Many people have been the victims of hate crime because of their disability,
but lots do not report it. We can help. Disability Hate Crime can be:
being hit or hurt
being spat at
stealing from you

Section 146 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 is a law which says courts must give bigger sentences to people who do crimes against someone because
they are disabled.

In an emergency ring 999,
or report a crime to Greater Manchester Police on: 0161 872-5050

We are a third party reporting centre. If you do not want to report a crime to the police, you can come to one of our offices and report it.

Or, you can use the new Help Line, every Wednesday from 2 – 6pm on:
0161 882 2213
