Right to Control
The Right to Control is a new legal right that gives disabled people more say over their lives. It gives you more choice about how you use money from different funds to pay for your support. It is being tried out in Manchester and other areas now.
If you have a learning disability, live in Manchester and get funding or support from one or more of these, you must be told about the Right to Control:
• Access to Work
• Work Choice
• Disabled Facilities Grant
• Independent Living Fund
• Adult Social Care
• Supporting People
It is important you are given this choice. If you have not, contact:
